Quarrying and aggregate processing involve several operations that can generate dust, including blasting, crushing, screening, conveying, and stockpiling. Our Industrial Dust Suppression Spray System is designed to provide practical dust control for quarry and aggregate production environments.
The system can be installed around jaw crushers, cone crushers, impact crushers, vibrating screens, feeders, conveyor transfer points, and aggregate stockpiles. Rather than treating the entire processing area with water, the spray system focuses on specific dust-producing locations.
Spray nozzles can be selected according to the required flow rate and spray pattern. Depending on the application, the system can produce a relatively coarse spray or a finer water mist. The choice depends on the material characteristics, dust particle size, available water pressure, and required suppression area.
A complete quarry dust suppression system may include a water storage tank, pump, filtration unit, main pipeline, branch pipes, valves, pressure regulators, and spray nozzles. Stainless steel, galvanized steel, or other suitable pipeline materials can be considered depending on the operating environment.
For existing quarry plants, the system can also be designed as a retrofit solution. Nozzle assemblies can be mounted around existing chutes, conveyors, crushers, and screens without requiring major changes to the original equipment.
The system is suitable for limestone, granite, basalt, sand, gravel, aggregates, and other quarry materials. With proper nozzle positioning and water management, it can become an integrated part of a quarry's overall dust control strategy.

For transfer points and conveyors, spray placement is especially important. Sprays should be directed toward the material or dust source rather than unnecessarily wetting the belt or surrounding equipment. Excessive water can contribute to carryback, chute blockage or increased material moisture, while insufficient moisture may leave airborne dust uncontrolled.
