Spray System
Product Information
Mining and mineral processing operations often generate large quantities of airborne dust during crushing, screening, feeding, and material transfer. Our Mining Dust Suppression Spray System is designed to control dust directly at the point where it is generated. By applying a controlled amount of water through specially selected spray nozzles, the system produces suitable droplets that interact with airborne dust and help settle particles before they spread into the surrounding working environment.
The system can be installed around primary crushers, secondary crushers, vibrating screens, feeders, conveyor transfer points, and discharge areas. Depending on the site conditions, different types of spray nozzles can be selected according to particle size, water pressure, spray angle, and required coverage. This allows the system to be adapted to different materials, including coal, iron ore, copper ore, limestone, aggregates, and other bulk minerals.
A complete system may include water pumps, pipelines, valves, spray nozzles, filters, pressure regulators, control cabinets, and mounting components. Automatic or manual control options can also be configured according to the customer's requirements. Compared with simply increasing water flow, a properly designed spray system focuses on delivering water where dust is actually generated.
For mining companies and processing plants looking for a practical dust control solution, the system provides a flexible way to improve working conditions and reduce visible dust around major
Designed for Severe Mining Conditions
HUATAO Mining Dust Suppression Spray Systems can be engineered for a wide range of dust-generating areas:
For transfer points and conveyors, spray placement is especially important. Sprays should be directed toward the material or dust source rather than unnecessarily wetting the belt or surrounding equipment. Excessive water can contribute to carryback, chute blockage or increased material moisture, while insufficient moisture may leave airborne dust uncontrolled.
