The concentrator can be installed after a ball mill, rod mill, hydrocyclone, vibrating screen, or other classification equipment. In grinding circuits, it can be used to recover liberated gold at an early stage and potentially reduce the amount of free gold returning to downstream processing.

For optimum performance, operating parameters should be selected according to actual ore characteristics. Important factors include feed particle size, solids concentration, mineral density, gold liberation, feed rate, water pressure, and concentrate bed conditions.

The concentrated heavy-mineral product can then be processed by a secondary upgrading system when higher concentrate grade is required.

Centrifugal Concentrators offer an efficient gravity separation solution for recovering free gold and other high-density minerals from mineral slurries. By generating an enhanced centrifugal force, they can improve the concentration of fine and ultra-fine heavy particles that may be difficult to recover with conventional gravity equipment.
