The Centrifugal Gold Concentrator can be installed as a standalone machine, modular unit or component of a complete mineral processing plant. It can be integrated with trommel screens, vibrating screens, hydrocyclones, pumps, ball mills, flotation circuits and shaking tables to create a customized gravity recovery circuit. Typical feed capacity ranges from approximately 0.5–100+ t/h, depending on the selected model. Feed size can be up to approximately 2–6 mm, while drive power may range from approximately 1.5–30+ kW or higher. The final configuration should be selected according to processing capacity, ore type, feed size, mineral liberation, water conditions and required discharge method.
High centrifugal force significantly increases the effective separation force compared with conventional gravity concentration. Commercial enhanced-gravity equipment can operate across a broad G-force range depending on the model and application.
The centrifugal field helps recover fine liberated gold and other dense minerals that may be difficult to capture using conventional low-G equipment. Actual recovery depends on mineral liberation, particle size, feed density, bowl configuration and operating parameters.
The separation process is based on physical density differences rather than chemical reagents. No mercury or cyanide is required for the gravity concentration stage, making the equipment suitable for environmentally conscious mineral processing circuits.
Batch centrifugal concentrators can produce a relatively small quantity of high-grade concentrate from a much larger feed stream. This reduces the volume of material requiring downstream cleaning and upgrading.
The concentrator can be integrated with trommel screens, vibrating screens, hydrocyclones, pumps, ball mills, flotation circuits, shaking tables and other mineral processing equipment to form a complete gravity recovery circuit.
