Centrifugal Gold Concentrator for Fine Gold Recovery
Product Information
The High-G Centrifugal Gold Concentrator increases the effective gravitational field through high-speed bowl rotation. The typical centrifugal force range is approximately 60–200 G or higher, depending on the equipment model and application. This enhanced gravity effect helps concentrate fine liberated gold and other high-density minerals that may be difficult to recover using conventional gravity equipment. During operation, slurry enters the rotating bowl and dense particles migrate toward the concentration zone. Fluidization water supports the separation process by maintaining a suitable mineral bed and limiting the retention of lighter material. The equipment can be applied to gold, silver, tin, tungsten, tantalum and other heavy minerals, with actual performance depending on mineralogy and operating parameters.
High centrifugal force significantly increases the effective separation force compared with conventional gravity concentration. Commercial enhanced-gravity equipment can operate across a broad G-force range depending on the model and application.
The centrifugal field helps recover fine liberated gold and other dense minerals that may be difficult to capture using conventional low-G equipment. Actual recovery depends on mineral liberation, particle size, feed density, bowl configuration and operating parameters.
The separation process is based on physical density differences rather than chemical reagents. No mercury or cyanide is required for the gravity concentration stage, making the equipment suitable for environmentally conscious mineral processing circuits.
Batch centrifugal concentrators can produce a relatively small quantity of high-grade concentrate from a much larger feed stream. This reduces the volume of material requiring downstream cleaning and upgrading.
The concentrator can be integrated with trommel screens, vibrating screens, hydrocyclones, pumps, ball mills, flotation circuits, shaking tables and other mineral processing equipment to form a complete gravity recovery circuit.
