The Continuous Discharge Centrifugal Gold Concentrator is designed for mineral processing circuits that require uninterrupted concentrate production and higher concentrate mass yields. Unlike batch operation, the continuous-discharge configuration supports continuous concentrate removal and is suitable for heavy mineral concentration, scavenging circuits and industrial mineral recovery. The correct configuration should be selected according to feed rate, target mineral density, particle size distribution, mineral liberation characteristics, required concentrate mass yield and downstream process requirements. This type of centrifugal concentrator can be integrated into larger mineral processing circuits and is particularly useful when continuous operation is an important process requirement.
High centrifugal force significantly increases the effective separation force compared with conventional gravity concentration. Commercial enhanced-gravity equipment can operate across a broad G-force range depending on the model and application.
The centrifugal field helps recover fine liberated gold and other dense minerals that may be difficult to capture using conventional low-G equipment. Actual recovery depends on mineral liberation, particle size, feed density, bowl configuration and operating parameters.
The separation process is based on physical density differences rather than chemical reagents. No mercury or cyanide is required for the gravity concentration stage, making the equipment suitable for environmentally conscious mineral processing circuits.
Batch centrifugal concentrators can produce a relatively small quantity of high-grade concentrate from a much larger feed stream. This reduces the volume of material requiring downstream cleaning and upgrading.
The concentrator can be integrated with trommel screens, vibrating screens, hydrocyclones, pumps, ball mills, flotation circuits, shaking tables and other mineral processing equipment to form a complete gravity recovery circuit.
