Instead of relying only on a rubber seal, the system combines the skirtboard, wear liner, belt support and flexible sealing strip. The skirtboard and liner handle material impact and abrasion, while the skirt seal maintains contact with the belt edge to reduce fines and dust leakage. This design can help reduce side spillage, material accumulation and cleaning requirements around the conveyor. The system is suitable for mining, aggregate, coal, cement, steel and general bulk handling systems. HUATAO can customize the skirt material, thickness, skirtboard dimensions and mounting configuration according to conveyor geometry and operating conditions.
