A Portable Gold Sluice Box provides a convenient solution for prospectors and small-scale mining operators who need to transport gold recovery equipment between different working areas. The equipment works on the principle of gravity separation. Gold-bearing sand and gravel are introduced into the upper section of the sluice while water flows through the channel. Riffles and recovery mats create areas of lower turbulence where dense particles can settle and remain trapped, while lighter material continues downstream.

The internal recovery system can be configured according to the expected gold particle size and feed characteristics. Different riffle profiles and sluice mats can be used to improve the retention of coarse gold and fine gold.
