HUATAO Conveyor Skirt Seal is a flexible sealing component used between a transfer chute or skirtboard and the conveyor belt. Its main purpose is to reduce material leakage, contain fines and help control fugitive dust around transfer points. The sealing strip can be manufactured from natural rubber, SBR, polyurethane or other application-specific elastomers. Material selection depends on abrasion, temperature, moisture and the characteristics of the conveyed material. For heavy-duty applications, the skirt seal can be combined with wear liners and adjustable clamps so that the sealing rubber does not directly absorb large material impacts.
