HUATAO Spiral Chute is a gravity concentration equipment designed for wet separation and recovery of fine-grained and heavy minerals. Also called a Spiral Concentrator, Spiral Separator or Gravity Spiral Chute, it uses gravity, centrifugal force, fluid resistance and slurry flow to separate minerals according to differences in specific gravity and particle characteristics. The slurry enters the upper section through a feed distributor and flows continuously downward along the helical surface. During this process, heavier mineral particles tend to move toward the inner part of the spiral, while lighter gangue moves toward the outer section. Adjustable splitters at the discharge end can separate concentrate, middlings and tailings. The equipment has a simple structure, continuous operation and few moving components.
