HUATAO Spiral Chute is designed for applications where valuable minerals have sufficient density differences from associated gangue. It can be used for heavy mineral recovery and pre-concentration in gold, iron ore, chromite, tin, tungsten, zircon, rutile, ilmenite and other mineral processing applications. The gravity separation process occurs continuously as slurry travels through the spiral channel. Particle density, size and hydraulic behavior influence the position of particles within the flowing slurry. Heavy particles tend to move inward, while lighter materials move outward. The final discharge can be divided using adjustable splitters. Actual recovery and concentrate grade depend on feed mineralogy, liberation size, particle-size distribution, pulp density and slurry flow rate.
